The Barolo Ludo DOCG 2021 from Poderi Luigi Einaudi combines grapes from selected vineyards in the Barolo zone and is a tribute to founder Luigi “Ludo” Einaudi. The Nebbiolo grape variety produces a wine that perfectly balances power, structure, and finesse. The long aging in wooden barrels adds additional complexity and emphasizes the traditional style of this great Piedmontese red wine.

On the nose, complex aromas of red cherries, rose hips, and forest berries unfold, accompanied by rose petals, licorice, tobacco, and fine spice notes. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful yet elegant with ripe tannins, lively acidity, and remarkable depth. The long, complex finish shows the full class and great aging potential of this Barolo.
