The Nero d'Avola DOC 2023 comes from the Akrille project by Cutrera and Bastianich, dedicated to the indigenous grape varieties of Sicily. The "King" grape Nero d'Avola produces a wine that impressively reflects the warmth and diversity of the island. Full-bodied but not overwhelming, it harmoniously combines fruit, structure, and elegance.

The nose reveals aromas of ripe plums, cherries, and dark fruits, accompanied by delicate Mediterranean spice notes. On the palate, the wine is juicy and balanced with a velvety texture, lively acidity, and pleasant tannins. The long, fruit-driven finish underscores the distinctive style of this Sicilian grape variety.
