The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso DOC from Marchesi Fumanelli is crafted in the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica. Following the traditional Ripasso method, the young Valpolicella is fermented a second time on Amarone pomace, giving it additional complexity, depth, and structure. The vines, which are around 40 years old and grow on limestone and clay soils, lend the wine its distinctive character.

On the nose, intense aromas of ripe cherries, dark wild berries, and red fruits unfold, accompanied by spicy notes and subtle hints of herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, with soft, velvety tannins, lively acidity, and remarkable depth. The long, elegant finish underscores the balance between fruit, spice, and structure.
