The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso DOC by Marchesi Fumanelli originates from the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica. Following the traditional Ripasso method, the young Valpolicella is refermented on the Amarone pomace, giving it additional complexity, depth, and structure. The approximately 40-year-old vines on limestone and clay soils lend the wine its distinctive character.

On the nose, intense aromas of ripe cherries, dark forest berries, and red fruits unfold, accompanied by spicy notes and subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, the wine presents itself as full-bodied and harmonious with soft, velvety tannins, lively acidity, and remarkable depth. The long, elegant finish emphasizes the balance between fruit, spice, and structure.
