The Squarano Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC from Marchesi Fumanelli comes from an exclusive single vineyard surrounding the historic ruins of the winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. A portion of the grapes are dried for several weeks after harvesting, which gives the wine additional concentration, complexity, and expressiveness. It then matures for over a year in French oak barrels, developing its characteristic elegance and structure.

Intense aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and sour cherries unfold on the nose, accompanied by notes of black pepper, balsamic herbs, and fine spices. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful yet harmonious with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, complex finish. The combination of fruit, spice, and freshness gives it remarkable elegance.
