The Crozes-Hermitage Rouge 2021 from Maison & Domaines Les Alexandrins originates from selected plots in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. The vines, some of which are over a hundred years old, grow on clay-sandy soils with the characteristic Rhône pebbles, imparting exceptional concentration and expressiveness to the wine. The maturation follows traditional methods with twelve months of aging in used oak barrels, ensuring the fruit and character of the Syrah remain the focus.

On the nose, intense aromas of red berries, dark fruits, and fine spices unfold. On the palate, the Syrah presents itself as rich and balanced, with juicy fruit, silky tannins, and a beautiful freshness. The subtle oak aging adds additional complexity without overshadowing the wine's elegance. The long, harmonious finish emphasizes the finesse of this classic Rhône wine.
