The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva Spelt 2021 is La Valentina's iconic flagship wine and is considered one of Italy's most significant Montepulciano wines. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the hills of Abruzzo and are strictly selected. The long aging in oak barrels gives the wine additional complexity, structure, and finesse.

The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe black cherries, plums, and dark forest berries, accompanied by notes of cocoa, tobacco, spices, and fine balsamic nuances. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful and multifaceted with ripe tannins, balanced acidity, and impressive depth. The long, elegant finish underlines the exceptional quality and great aging potential of this Riserva.
