The Riesling Ried Preussen am Nussberg Erste Lage ÖTW 2021 from Fuhrgassl-Huber originates from one of Vienna's most renowned Erste Lage (first-growth) vineyards. Ried Preussen am Nussberg is characterized by calcium-rich soils and has been considered one of the city's best Riesling sites for centuries. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the clarity of the fruit and impressively expresses the distinct minerality of the terroir.

On the nose, fine aromas of apricot, peach, orange zest, and delicate smoky notes unfold, accompanied by an elegant minerality. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful and taut with juicy stone fruit, salty minerality, and lively, racy acidity. The long, precise finish gives this Riesling great development potential.
