The 2023 Pinot Gris Reserve from Weingut Dürnberg comes from south-facing vineyards around Falkenstein. The highly ripe grapes are hand-picked, gently pressed after several days of maceration, and then aged for around ten months on the full lees in oak barrels. This results in a complex white wine with exceptional structure, expressiveness, and great aging potential.

On the nose, aromas of hazelnut, plum, and cinnamon unfold, accompanied by fine herbal notes and subtle roasted aromas. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful and creamy with balanced acidity, fine minerality, and elegant tannin structure. The dry finish and the long, harmonious aftertaste make it an excellent food companion.
