The Ried Wechselberg Grüner Veltliner Kamptal DAC 2025 from Weingut Eichinger comes from the high-altitude, south-facing Ried Wechselberg vineyard in the Strassertal valley. The crystalline slate and primary rock soils of the Bohemian Massif, along with cool nights, ensure slow ripening and give the wine its distinctive aroma, freshness, and minerality. After a short maceration, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on its lees until bottling.

On the nose, aromas of yellow apple, ripe stone fruit, and delicate herbal spice unfold, accompanied by a minty, peppery freshness. On the palate, the wine is juicy and precise with elegant minerality, balanced acidity, and a dense, harmonious structure. The long, spicy finish underscores the typical character of this Kamptal vineyard.
