The glorious Chardonnay 2025 from Weingut Eichinger comes from a south-facing vineyard on the eastern part of the Gaisberg. Loess soil with primary rock in the subsoil gives the wine its minerality and depth. After a period of skin contact, the Chardonnay is fermented and aged in large and small wooden barrels. Five months on the full lees provide creaminess, complexity, and an elegant structure.

On the nose, complex aromas of ripe Williams pears, honeydew melon, and delicate pine needles unfold, accompanied by notes of gingerbread and subtle malt. On the palate, the wine presents itself juicy and finely structured with creamy mellowness, harmonious acidity, and impressive fruit depth. With a little air, it gains additional expression and convinces with a long, powerful finish.
